Hello everyone
As you can see I added several new video portals to the conversion wizard. So now it's possible to convert videos from Blip.tv, Break.com, Dailymotion, LiveVideo, MetaCafe, Veoh and Youtube.
Just for information: This time I was as close as never before to make a paid version of Media Converter. So that you have to pay a very small and reasonable price for the new portals and a Firefox extension (I won't publish the Firefox extension now). The idea was to cover the costs and maybe to get some money for me because I spent so many hours for this website and haven't got a lot of it yet.
But in some way I felt bad because of that. This website is still a hobby for me. A very time-consuming one .. but one with passion.
As I was still a bit in Christmas mood I decided to make a present and offer it for free.

Ooh, if this awesome converter wasn't free anymore, I wouldn't be able to use it. My folks won't let me buy stuff online, no matter how cheap it is. So thanks. You're so awesome for making this service available, dude. Happy holidays.
Thanks for keeping this site free!!! If I could help cover your costs even just a little bit, I would, but I can barely cover my own at the moment and this site is part of how I keep my sanity - downloading things off YouTube to put on the good ol' iPod and watch on the way to work! Once I have disposable income, I'll be sure to send some of it your way!
Thanks for adding DailyMotion too! I've been looking for AGES for a way of getting videos off there and now I have one! :D

I think you should create a paid site for yourself maybe for advanced work but go get advice from big boys just try pick right one!

Pascal, you really are spending your time and money on making this site for us, and keeping it running.
I really think you are dedicated to it and you should be proud of yourself to have not made this site have a charge for it's users. That really says something over most commercial sites--that you are and want to be connected to your users.

If i could donate, i would. but since i can't, i have to say thank you for keeping this a free service. I use it almost every day. I don't think anyone on this site would care if you just plastered this site with ads if it meant the service stayed free. happy new year and thanks!
