• Added menu entry "Help -> Check for updates"
• Added video bitrate selection
• Added some new video resolutions

I decided to start the development for a downloadable stand-alone converter. I made a lot of progress the last few days. I'd like to show you a first impression of the converter.

03.05.07 - MC stays free

Hello @ all

I saw some people asking if Media Converter will stay free in the future.
YES it stays free. I have no time to integrate a paid system :). And because there are enough other solutions which are available for free. So my chances to earn money with that are really small and I'd lose a lot of users.

I just hope that there are some people who will donate from time to time via paypal.com.

And maybe when my programming skills are improved I'll create an own standalone converter for download. But I have almost no time this year :) So don't be glad too early ;) It's just a thought ...
