Some people misunderstood my last blog post. They believe that I'll close the free version of MC. I just said that I'll introduce a paid service. MC will also get a complete redesign. Here is a first impression of the future look and feel.

MC will stay free but there will also be a paid service with many new features for people who want to use it more extensive.
Last month I had to pay 2000$ for this service. Many people donated a total of 800$ and the advertisment earnings were around 600$.
-> 2000 - 800 - 600 = 600$ from my own pocket. As I don't want to perpetuate this situation I decided to make this step.

If I got you more people to come to your site, would it cost you more or would you make more off of ads?

Mit den Real Media Formaten ist das so eine Sache! Dieses Format ist nicht offen und ist von der Opensourcegemeinde bis heute noch nicht richtig umgesetzt. Da diese Dateitypen so bugy sind, habe ich mich entschieden sie besser nicht auf der Seite zu veröffentlichen. Sry.

I just wanted to tell you how much I freaking love your site. It is a true lifesaver for people who are too lazy to download the whole shebang (anime wise, of course).
I'm babbling, but I'm only thirteen, and it tortures me knowing that I can't donate. ;_;
well this problem happends to me in any file that I convert in your site...
that means that I cant download any file that I convert.....
(sorry for my bad english I hope you understood me...)

I just wanted to say I just love your site man!!
But I also like the computer/download version for bigger files, but the problem is that it doesn`t have as many options as the online version, such as:
-choose codec
-doesn`t have as many choices os resolutions (doesn`t have for example 480x320 fot my iPod...)

New look is awesome. I have been using MC for over a year and I love it. Though it has changed drastically over time, the on thing you have never changed is keeping it free and I thank you for that. One thing though is when i try to download a video, i click the download link and all it does is bring up a blank page with your url with the video file name at the end. No file download thing pops up.

Hey, theres a bug in wap converter. When I try to convert a file, it says something like xml parse error, file not found at mediaconverter.org/wap/ or something like that.
the wap conversion is no more available
Ok. Now I cant do it anymore with my phone and I dont have computer :( I also see that converter for old browsers isnt available. I cant convert any videos with my opera mini. Good service still, even though I cant use it. Keep the good work up. May God bless you and bring you to salvation in Jesus Christ if you are not saved yet. He wants you and loves you :)

I Totally agree with you, whoever you are. I am sixteen, and I have added this site to my donations list for when I am 18... (looking back at this list, I will be broke after 18!)
