Hello everyone
Just some details about the new version of mediaconverter.org:
- Support for Facebook videos (free)
- Some erotic portals: Youporn, Timtube and Pornhub (premium users)
- Premium users can download adult protected videos on Youtube
- Again 10 free conversions per day (sorry for the inconveniences at the moment)
Some people asked for hulu.com support. This is not possible since I all my servers are located in Germany. The videos on hulu can only be accessed from inside the USA. Sorry!
The new version doesn't just bring new features it also misses some features like support for Office file formats (too much ressources / only a few users).
By the way .. I still accept feature requests for the new version. So feel free to request whatever you're missing in the current version.

On the same day you made it 5 conversations each day, was the same day i was getting 18 songs for use with my racing games.
I logged on and thought "great this'll only take two days!" then i went on my computer and I was like "WTF 5!?!" thats four days! :L
But all is good now because you've put it back to ten a day :D

Support for Google Video would be nice. It already provides downloads in mp4 format; the question is how to figure out the addresses... besides the obvious screen-scraping, of course.

No I don't think so. You also have to confirm your age on mediaconverter.org .
It's taken me hours to find a application which downloads and converts videos to mp4s etc and I only found yours last night. I just want to say thank you very much for taking the time to create it. Thanks X

I am agreeing with the comment made about high quality videos. Could we be able to download those off of youtube?

If you want to download a high-quality version of a song off Youtube, type &fmt=18 on the end of the URL. This only works for videos that do have a HD version.
hello... im ryan here.. the limitations set by the vid converter per day is 5... but i cant even convert a file.. whenever i return to this page it is written limit level reached.. and i am very sad about it... i really hope you will do something about it... and lastly a great thanks for converting my files for free... i will soon try my best to subscribe.. thank you....
Hey, for the problem of Hulu only being accessible in the US, would it be possible at all just to go through a proxy in the United States, and then grab the video? I don't know anything about how MediaConverter works, but I imagine that this would be possible somehow.
Or, if you worry that scripts running through proxies could be a problem (specifically, the problem where the keeper of the proxy catches onto the scripts putting requests through it), maybe you could create some sort of array for your server to look at that has information on US proxies and where to find them, and have it choose a random one when a hulu conversion is requested, and ONLY for hulu conversions?
Just a thought.
Other than that, I have no comments on the redesign at this time. I hope it's cool once it gets online. :)
y dont u just make it were u can only dowloed 2 erotic videos per week that will be asome for the free users .
