Hello everyone
Yes! The new version is almost done. The public beta phase will start on the 1st of April. So everyone is welcome to help me testing the new version.
And attention! The new version is NOT compatible with IE 6. Internet Explorer 6 is completely out-of-date and is not web standards-compliant. So please make sure to update your browser or switch to a way better browser like Firefox.
Regards
Pascal

Love the service - can't wait for the new release. Any sneaky peaks of the new version ?
Just found your site. Thank you and I bow down to you for all your hard work. I have been searching for mths.
You can't do that! Quite a few people out there are still having to use IE6, so this really isn't fair to those people who can't upgrade or switch for whatever reason they may have.
Just because it's "out-of-date" doesn't mean it isn't still completely useable.
I know there are some people out there with IE6 but there are so many free and better solutions that I don't see a reason why I can't do this step. IE6 is completely out-of-date and is a big problem for every web developer. It just takes too much time to spend developing websites which also work with IE6 and technologies from nowadays don't work properly in IE6. Sorry
im a website designer ad i only now code for IE7/8, Google chrome, Firefox 3 and Safari 3/4. website desginers try not to code for IE6 anymore becuase you have to set up seprate codes for it and its time consuming and annoying.
Can we download more files with the Beta version?
Im thankful for that you made this mediaconverter and all but its abit annoying with the only 5 files download.
But still keep up the good work...
This is awesome news! Will that also be when the limit is back up to 10 conversions? I've just found a trove of pages of my favorite songs and it's a bit frustrating getting them all 5 pieces at a time when there are 400 of them ;)
Will the beta version work for Google Chrome? That's what I'm currently using.
Yes it will work with Chrome for sure since this is one of the most standard-compliant browsers at the moment.
Google Chrome is partly build on Firefox's open source code, so its kinda Firefox in a way, so should work with any site that works with Firefox
Good in some way, it will encourage more people to use IE7 or IE8 although IE8 is terrible. Good luck. Hmm, anyone knows about Maxthon Browser?
its a veryy veryy great website
